Secure Adolescent Residential Treatment Program |

Parc Place is a Secure Residential Treatment Program serving the treatment needs of adolescent males and females, ages 11-17. Adolescents presenting with chemical dependency and/or psychiatric diagnoses are considered candidates for the program. The therapeutic environment includes individual, group, and family therapy, accredited educational services, psychiatric and nursing services, and milieu therapy utilizing a phase system, cognitive-behavioral therapy and 12 Step recovery approaches. Treatment occurs in a therapeutic milieu, which meets the standards for safety and resident care established for Level 1 RTC facilities by the State of Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and the Joint Commission.
Admission Criteria
- Male or female, between the ages of 11-17.
- Presents with one or more psychiatric diagnoses requiring moderately complicated psychiatric and/or medical management.
- Presents with a substance abuse disorder with a high risk for continued use if not in a structured, 24-hour treatment setting. Demonstrates moderate to high levels of denial and resistance to changing drug-using lifestyle.
- Presents with a pattern of moderate risk for danger to self or danger to others
- High risk for continued harmful behavior if not in a structured, 24-hour treatment setting.
- Moderate to high levels of denial and resistance to change, or history of failure to make adequate progress in an outpatient treating setting.
- IQ not below 64 on standardized testing.
- Clients referred for readmission are considered under the same criteria as new admissions.
